Privacy notice

01 Who we are

Cubana Estates is a Ghanaian real-estate development company with its office at Gbawe Pipeline, Weija Municipal, Accra, Ghana. This notice explains what we do with the personal information you give us through www.cubanaestates.com.

We are the data controller for that information, and we handle it in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

02 What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, country, what you are interested in, the model you selected, your budget range if you give one, and anything you write in the message field.

When you join our interest list from the footer we collect your email address only.

Our server also records the IP address and browser the submission came from. We use this solely to prevent abuse of the form.

03 Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and to contact you about the homes, developments and payment options you asked about. This is the only reason we ask for your details.

To send you updates about new developments, models and pricing, if you asked to be kept on the interest list. You can leave that list at any time.

To keep records of the enquiries we receive and to protect the form from automated abuse.

04 Who sees it

Only the Cubana Estates team, and the service providers who run the systems we use — our web host and our email provider. They process the information on our instructions and for no other purpose.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other developers, agents or brokers.

05 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are in contact with you about a purchase, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer questions about what was discussed. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we are required by law to keep it.

06 Cookies and measurement

This site sets no non-essential cookies until you accept the cookie notice. If you accept, we load Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which set cookies that help us understand how people find and use the site and how well our advertising performs.

If you decline, those tools are never loaded and no measurement cookies are set. A single browser storage entry records your choice so we do not ask again.

Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies directly. Doing so will not stop you using this site.

07 Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Write to us using the details below and we will respond.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.

08 Links to other sites

This site links to WhatsApp, to our social media profiles and, if you choose to load it, to an embedded Google map. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

09 Changes to this notice

We will update this page if what we do with your information changes. The date below always shows when it was last revised.
